The Dolomites of the Belluno area were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Their romantic valleys frame the most beautiful alpine landscapes to have an unforgettable summer holiday or to ski down the most beautiful pistes.
The magic features of these landscapes can be briefly described: marvellous alpine lakes, ancient coniferous and broad-leaved woodlands, strange-shaped bare rocks, stones varying their rainbow hues according to the light, mountains from the sea where even dinosaurs lived. Eagles flying in the deep blue sky can be easily seen from the top.
The most beautiful mountains in the world, awarded by Unesco „Human Heritage“ in June 2009, are waiting for visitors to spend here unforgettable holidays.
The Cadore area welcomes the visitors with small villages rich in history and traditions but especially with its kingdom of the stone castles: Mount Pelmo, Mount Civetta, Mount Marmolada.
The Agordino area and the Zoldana valley are two valleys rich in enchanting landscapes. Lands of shepherds, woodcutters and miners as well because important mines were based here, such as the Imperina Valley one responsible for the copper supply to the Serenissima, the Venetian Republic.
